The first few pages of this Digilog are free to view but to unlock the power of the Set Piece Digilog an activation licence key must be purchased, this is to protect the unauthorised copying and distribution of this product. The Digilog will guide you through this process in a simple step by step wizard.

Recommended Systems Requirements:

PC: Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7, Pentium 2 1GHz Processor or equivalent, 1GB RAM, 25MB of hard drive space, internet connection for activation and multimedia content, Adobe flash player for multimedia content.

MAC: MAC OS X Intel Processor ONLY, also requires X11 and Wine PC Emulator to be installed this is done on request when installing the reader software. 1GB RAM, 25MB of hard drive space, internet connection for activation and multimedia content, Adobe flash player for multimedia content.

Image Manipulation

Insert/Change Image - has exactly the effect as double clicking the image area, as described in previous section.
Fit Horizontally & fit vertically - this will depend on the orientation (Portrait or landscape) of the image area and the image you are inserting.
Fit & trim Horizontally & fit & trim vertically - this is the same as above but the image is "trimmed" to fit the image area.
Remove the image - does exactly what it says.
Zoom in or out - when activated clicking the image will zoom in or out allowing the selection of a specific area of the image that you would like to view, this should be used in conjunction with the "trim" feature.
Zoom ratio - is similar to zoom in or out but uses a percentage e.g. 25% rather than clicking on the image.
Move the image - does exactly what it says.
Optimise the image - enables the reduction the image file size. Only ".jpg" (JPEG) and ".bmp" (BITMAP) files can be optimised Optimising means reducing the quality of the image. The lower the setting the lower the image quality and hence file size. The default setting is 90% for .jpg images and 100% for images originally inserted as .bmp images.
Trim image - this feature will trim the visible part of the image and should be used in conjunction with the zoom in/out feature to edit the image.
Lock image - if selected the image can no longer be edited, however if the changes you have made are not saved the image area will be still be editable.
Page & Book options - are global settings for the whole of the digilog therefore care should be taken when using these options.

Menubar - turns the menu bar off. See later topic for detailed explanation.
Turn Page Forward/Backward - does exactly what it says.
Go to Page - enables the selection of a specific page to view.
Turn Mode - various page transitions, the change is only temporary, the setting is not saved with the Digilog when closed.
Page Turn Speed - changes the speed of the page transitions, change is only temporary, the setting is not saved with the Digilog when closed.
Send Mail - if enabled this allows the Digilog to be sent via email to a friend or colleague.
Set Auto Turn - if set turns the pages automatically every few seconds change is only temporary, the setting is not saved with the Digilog when closed.
Background - same as choosing "background" in the Digilog.
Back to/Forward to previous page viewed - does exactly what it says.
Print Actual Size/Full Size - More advanced options for printing instructions are given by choosing "Print Instructions".
Save As - is the same as choosing the "Backup" icon in the Digilog.
Notes - great feature for adding and sharing notes see later topic for detailed explanation.
Highlights - great feature for highlighting parts of the Digilog see later topic for more.
Search - is the same as choosing the "Search" icon in the Digilog. See later topic for detailed explanation.
Close Menu - closes pop-up menu.

Menu Bar
File

Save As - is the same as choosing the "Backup" icon in the Digilog.
Print Actual Size/Full Size - More advanced options for printing instructions are given by choosing "Print Instructions".
Search - is the same as choosing the "Search" icon in the Digilog. See later topic for detailed explanation.
Exit - closes the Digilog.

Notes
You can type in the box to add text into the note. You can change some of the features of note such as the colour, icon, subject and author by choosing "Options". The note also displays the time the note was created and edited in Universal Time format (UTC). After you are done with note, you can save it by selecting save from the Notes menu in the right click menu. From this menu, you can export the notes to a DNN file and re-import them into another book. You can also send a note via email using the right click send notes function from the same menu. You can close a note by clicking on the close box in the top right corner. To open a note again, simply double click it. A line will appear to show you the link to from the note editor to the note icon.
Options related to notes.

Add new note - This adds a new note to your book. The cursor will change to the notes icon, then click in the Digilog where you want place the note.
Save all notes - This saves all the notes to the Digilog.
Export notes to DNN file - This exports the notes from the Digilog as a DNN file. You can send the DNN file to another Digilog user with the same Digilog and they can import your notes into their Digilog.
Import notes from DNN file - This imports notes from a DNN file to the Digilog and merges them with existing notes. You can only import notes from the same packaged the Digilog. (e.g Golf 2009)
Send notes by email - This sends the DNN note file as an email, this uses the same system as standard send mail book function, so you will need to have a MAPI compliant email program (e.g. MS Outlook, Outlook Express) for this to work. Once you have received the DNN file by email just save it from your email some where you recognise and import it using the import function as above.
Delete notes on this page - Delete all notes from the current page. You can also delete individual notes from the Digilog by right clicking any book and choosing delete.
Delete all notes in the Digilog - Delete all notes from the Digilog.

Highlights
Right clicking on the highlight will launch a pop-up menu from which you can lock the position of the highlight, change the color and opacity of the highlight.
Options related to highlights

Add new highlight - This adds a new highlight to your book.
Save all changes - This saves all the highlights to the Digilog.
Export highlights to DNN file - This export the highlights from the Digilog as a DNN file. You can send the DNN file to another Digilog user with the same Digilog and they can import your highlights into their Digilog.
Import highlights from DNN file - This import highlights from a DNN file to the Digilog and merge them with existing highlights. You can only import notes from the same packaged the Digilog. (e.g Golf 2008)
